  • Proof of income (example: paystub, EBT statement, tax record, bank statement)
  • Proof of residence (example: PG&E bill, telephone bill - must be within the last 45 days)
  • Proof the children for whom you are requesting assistance live with you, and are supported by your income (example: school report card, social services letter, court papers)
  • Birth certificate for each child for whom you are requesting assistance

Failure to provide the required documentation will prevent you and your family from participating in the program.  There are no exceptions to this requirement.  We will try to fill your requested needs but we will only be able to fill needs as donations allow.  We do not guarantee that everyone who applies to the program will have all needs met or will be accepted into the program.

Please do not apply for this program if you have applied for and received toys from any other community assistance program.  Applications are cross-matched with other community toy programs.  Duplicate applications will not be considered for the Red Hat Gift Program.

 

There are 15 cities in the County of Santa Clara, including: Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga, and Sunnyvale.  At this time we are only able to consider applications from Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and zip codes 95117, 95124, 95125, 95128 and 95129.  Once all applications from these 5 cities and 5 zip codes listed have been completed, and we have the donations available we will consider applications from other areas of Santa Clara County.

We will not consider any applications from outside Santa Clara County at anytime.
